1961 This book consists of a series of lectures given in 1960 at Harvard University by C.P. Snow. The general focus of these lectures is the interaction between science and government policies. The more specific focus of these lectures were the interactions that took place between government and politics during World War II with regards to the creation and use of nuclear bombs. The majority of the lectures involve Snow specifically discussing the British scientist Sir Henry Tizard's interactions with the British government during the 1939-1945 time period.
